I wanted to build an awesome place for people to discuss module specific issues, but I don't have any more time for this, and there are much better places to discuss Perl-related issues. I'd recommend asking your question on Stack Overflow or on Perl Monks.
If you are looking for a Perl tutorial or Perl-related news, I hope these links will serve you well.

Efficient compressing of files
Hi all - I don't see an option to "compress" the storable output files - so I'm considering a patch to add this feature. Does anyone have any comments or opinions or suggestions before I start work on this? (It's always better to get it right the first time... so speak now, or forever hold your peace :-)

Re: Efficient compressing of files
Do you plan to do more than (untested code):
use Storable qw(nfreeze); use Compress::Zlib qw(memGzip); print $ofh memGzip(nfreeze($data_structure));
?
