I wanted to build an awesome place for people to discuss module specific issues, but I don't have any more time for this, and there are much better places to discuss Perl-related issues. I'd recommend asking your question on Stack Overflow or on Perl Monks.
If you are looking for a Perl tutorial or Perl-related news, I hope these links will serve you well.

nagios3 autodescovery + hostgroup based + exclude-file
Hi,

I need to make an autodiscovery solution for Nagios 3.0.

I must be able to put hosts into specific hostgroups based on the hostname.

If the hostname doesn't match any of the specified hostgroups it should be automatically added to the default hostgroup.

If I don't want the host monitored I can manually put the hostname into an exclude-file.
