I wanted to build an awesome place for people to discuss module specific issues, but I don't have any more time for this, and there are much better places to discuss Perl-related issues. I'd recommend asking your question on Stack Overflow or on Perl Monks.
If you are looking for a Perl tutorial or Perl-related news, I hope these links will serve you well.

Re: Time::HiRes test failures on Solaris 2.6
I'm using the latest Time::HiRes 1.66, but the version which is a part of perl 5.8.6 (v1.65) also fails. You're right in that it seems to pass according to CPAN Testers. And certainly if perl 5.8.6 was failing on all Solaris 2.6 machines i'm sure we'd have heard about it, so i can only conclude that it is something to do with the particular machine or patch of solaris that i am on. Anyone have any ideas? Sagar

Re: Time::HiRes test failures on Solaris 2.6
In my setup, I recall running tests with Perl 5.6 failing but with Perl 5.8 it passed (sorry, don't remember the minor verson numbers). I 'straced' the two and there were visible differences.
