I wanted to build an awesome place for people to discuss module specific issues, but I don't have any more time for this, and there are much better places to discuss Perl-related issues. I'd recommend asking your question on Stack Overflow or on Perl Monks.
If you are looking for a Perl tutorial or Perl-related news, I hope these links will serve you well.

writing to author fields in Photoshop kills description and keywords fields
I want to write to the description, keywords AND author fields. Everything is fine with the description and keywords and they show up as they should in Photoshop, but when I add the author field it shows up but the other fields are now blank. I need to use the IPTC info because the images are being imported into an archive which automatically reads the IPTC into. Is this possible? Thanks. Peter

Re: writing to author fields in Photoshop kills description and keywords fields
I suggest trying "-use MWG" and writing the MWG tags to maintain synchronization between EXIF, IPTC and XMP. I'm guessing that this is causing your problem. See the MWG tag name documentation for details.

Thanks for the info. By accident I found out if I use the 'Creator' tag instead everything remains intact. Pedro
