status of sigma-foveon x3f support?

Hi, cause the homepage is not clear about this but my exiftool 5.62 only says "unsupported fileformat", I want to ask about supporing this documented raw format. http://www.x3f.info/technotes/FileDocs/MakerNoteDoc.html Bye Thorsten

Hi Thorsten,

ExifTool currently supports the Sigma maker notes, but not the Sigma RAW (X3F) format.

But as you point out, the X3F format is documented at www.x3f.info... Wow, a raw format that is actually documented! What a treat. I will add support for this format and it should appear in version 5.68 within a few days.

Version 5.68 is now available from the ExifTool web site.

This version includes support for reading Sigma/Foveon X3F images.

Thanks Thorsten, for pointing me to the X3F documentation.
