Hello,
I'm working in a Wondows XP Home/Apache/Perl/PHP/DHTML environment. I would like to execute some PHP from Perl. However, I'm have trouble opening the .TAR.GZ file.
I'm using WinZip and getting an RC of 3. The download process to Windows changes the file name and type due to platform naming conventions. the resulting file name loses the .tar part, the type becomes .tar, and the .gz is loped off. I tried it the way it came down and I changed the file type to .gz. In both cases I got the RC of 3.
I looked around for a PPM package, but haven't found one. Can anyone offer some guidance. I'm new to CPAN. I've gotten all my Perl stuff so far by locating PPM packages. I love PPM packages. And I've never unpacked a .tar.gz file.
Thanks,
