Hi and Sorry volks. The FreeDB service shuts down its webinterface, which was used by this module for searching. Within the FAQ they say, that a revised version will come up shortly, but I'm pretty sure this will have nothing todo with the old one, thus a continuing of WebService::FreeDB would basically mean to rewrite of most of the code.
Since I'm not using it myself anymore (since more than 2 years), I don't think I will do this.

If anyone is willing to do so - even under name WebService::FreeDB (*) or another name - just contact me. I might contribute, we'll see.

(*) The name comes from pre-SOAP/WebService times, so its really confusing nowadays and should probably be changed.
