Dear friends of Net-Z3950, could I make a request? The p5-Net-Z3950 port to the NetBSD system is very out of date; ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/packages/pkgsrc/net/p5-Net-Z3950/README.html being Net-Z3950-0.32. No ZOOM. I had a little perl CGI using the ZOOM module, running beautifully in Linux. Now that I build this webserver using NetBSD, it has been a mess. I have tried to compile the package outside the pkgsrc frame, but there is all sorts of complications. I like the pkgsrc system very much, but in these cases, it can be terrible. Would you know people familiar with NetBSD or BSD in general, who could help in the porting of a decent new version? I guess it may also be necesarry to update the port of Yaz, since it is 2.1.16. I already made the request to NetBSD via their channels, but could I ask you to push from your side, also?
