I wanted to build an awesome place for people to discuss module specific issues, but I don't have any more time for this, and there are much better places to discuss Perl-related issues. I'd recommend asking your question on Stack Overflow or on Perl Monks.
If you are looking for a Perl tutorial or Perl-related news, I hope these links will serve you well.

Test 20 of 21 in tSLASH01HYPHENdh taking an inordinately long time
I'm trying to install Crypt::DH on a reasonably peppy machine (2.4GH Pentium 4 single processor RHEL3) and I'm wondering why it's necessary to have tests that take so long. It's been going for over an hour and it's still got a couple of tests to go, and most of that time has been spent on test 20. Isn't there a way to test the module satisfactorily without taking over the processor for more than an hour?

Cheers,
Bob

PS: this forum seem to take a pretty fascistic approach to subject line policing, as it wouldn't accept my original subject, which had a slash and a hyphen, both perfectly common ASCII characters. The "help" link said "send an email" if one's "favorite character" was not supported, but didn't say where to send the email. :-)
