I opened a ticket at "http://rt.cpan.org/Public/Bug/Display.html?id=17534" regarding trouble I am having to install this module on a newly compiled perl 5.8.8 installation on Ubuntu Linux 5.10. I include the make test error log over there (it's too big for this message box). I am surprised to be having trouble since this module is pretty stable, but since it is widely used I can't complete my installation of perl without it. Is anyone else having trouble with this module and newer versions of perl? Please any thoughts or help. john
