I wanted to build an awesome place for people to discuss module specific issues, but I don't have any more time for this, and there are much better places to discuss Perl-related issues. I'd recommend asking your question on Stack Overflow or on Perl Monks.

Problem building Test::Simple
Platform: Red Hat Enterprise Linux on PIII-500 w/2.4.21-37.EL kernel
I'm trying to build Test::Simple (Test-Simple-0.62.tar.gz) from both the CPAN shell and without it...both attempts fail with the following errors on several of the tests performed by 'make test':
lock can only be used on shared values at /home/me/.cpan/build/Test-Simple-0.62/blib/lib/Test/Build +er.pm line 394.
thread failed to start: lock can only be used on shared values at /home/me/.cpan/build/Test-Simple- +0.62/blib/lib/Test/Builder.pm line 394.
Any ideas how to get past this?
