I wanted to build an awesome place for people to discuss module specific issues, but I don't have any more time for this, and there are much better places to discuss Perl-related issues. I'd recommend asking your question on Stack Overflow or on Perl Monks.

IO::Socket::SSL version 1.70 crashes ASSP 1.9
Hello I use IO::Socket::SSL with ASSP (antispam proxy http://sourceforge.net/projects/assp/files/ ) from some year with no problem at all. It's used by ASSP to provide TLS smtp connections . Yesterday I updated to IO::Socket::SSL 1.70 (from 1.68) and ASSP started to crash with this error invalid SSL_version specified at /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/IO/Socket/SSL.pm line 308 Could it be a perl module bug ?
