I am looking at implementing a shopping cart for one of my client, i need to know how can we add discount to an item if we use Handel, i mean the logic will actually be ours, hence it should perhaps be a kind of plugin, how can we add that.

Pl advice,
Also is there any other appropriate Shopping cart library apart from Handel in Perl, or in general in other languages you are aware of?
