I wanted to build an awesome place for people to discuss module specific issues, but I don't have any more time for this, and there are much better places to discuss Perl-related issues. I'd recommend asking your question on Stack Overflow or on Perl Monks.

You would be much better off posting this at http://www.nntp.perl.org/group/perl.dbi.users/ or raise a RT ticket at http://rt.cpan.org/Dist/Display.html?Queue=DBD-Oracle Noody reads this forum but me I think. In your case above did you perl Makefile.PL and make install the DBD::Oracle??
