Passwords are not kept in clear text any more so the password reminder won't work and there is no replacement yet.

The notification e-mails are now sent by a daemon and not by the submission process. This should improve the performance of submitting a new post but will cause some delay in the e-mail delivery. The daemon is also a very simple implementation so it might crash and it won't be automatically restarted. Not yet at least.

The good news is that with this change I rewrote the code that is populating the database from cpan.org so man new packages that were missing from the site are going to be added now. For example now we can use the Padre forum.
