I have quite neglected the forum for some time but now I have to move it to a new server and I'll try to take this opportunity and restart working on it. The first thing I did was adding Google Analytics to the web site so I have a basic understanding of what's going on. The first thing I learned is that there are about 1000 visits a day to the forum. Obviously most of the people are only reading.

The second step is that I configured www.cpanforum.com to automatically forward to cpanforum.com. This might cause some inconveniences now as you might need to login again but in the future it will simplify things as pages won't be duplicated and everyone will go to the same hostname.

I also added AdSense to the forum. This is the regular Google advertisement that shows up at the top of the page. I'll have to figure it out how to make it less central to the page. Again sorry for the inconvenience.

In the next 24 hours I am planning to move the site to the new server. This will cause some downtime but hopefully most of the people are preparing for the New Year and won't care.
