I wanted to build an awesome place for people to discuss module specific issues, but I don't have any more time for this, and there are much better places to discuss Perl-related issues. I'd recommend asking your question on Stack Overflow or on Perl Monks.
If you are looking for a Perl tutorial or Perl-related news, I hope these links will serve you well.

bioperl db installed correctly?
Hi i've just run my bioperl-db installation.. and come back with:

All tests successful. Files=318, Tests=15885, 141 wallclock secs ( 3.07 usr 1.57 sys + 101.10 cusr 14.79 csys = 120.53 C +PU) Result: PASS CJFIELDS/BioPerl-1.6.0.tar.gz Tests succeeded but 2 dependencies missing (GraphViz,Convert::Binary::C) Warning (usually harmless): 'YAML' not installed, will not store persistent state CJFIELDS/BioPerl-1.6.0.tar.gz [dependencies] -- NA Running Build install make test had returned bad status, won't install without force Could not read '/Users/stevey_mac2k2/.cpan/build/GraphViz-2.04-o0OuiP/META.yml'. Falling back to ot +her methods to determine prerequisites Failed during this command: LBROCARD/GraphViz-2.04.tar.gz : writemakefile NO '/usr/bin/perl Makefile.PL' return +ed status 512 MHX/Convert-Binary-C-0.74.tar.gz : make_test NO CJFIELDS/BioPerl-1.6.0.tar.gz : make_test NO 2 dependencies missing (GraphViz,Conve +rt::Binary::C)

I was just wondering from the information above, If it would be ok to use this install? And if not.. what would i need to do to fix it? Thanks.
Stephen
