| Failed on test xhtml01.t with single-quote getting translated to char code |

After what seems to be a clean 'perl Makefile.PL' and 'make', I get 2 errors during testing Pod-Simple-3.07, t/xhtml01.t line 315 fails showing that the test expected the word "don't" to be returned with the single-quote turned into "& #39". What is returned is indeed a single-quote rather than the character combination. Using Pod::Escapes 1.04. "perl -V" returns:
